Farming is more than a way of life — it’s a business that requires planning, adaptability, and strong leadership. As Ontario farmers navigate changing markets, rising operating costs, and new opportunities in agriculture, having the right knowledge and business strategies is more important than ever.
Farm Credit Canada (FCC) is bringing its FCC Ag Summit to communities across Canada, offering farmers and agricultural producers an opportunity to strengthen their business management skills, connect with industry professionals, and gain fresh perspectives on the future of farming.
These free, one-day conferences are designed to help producers think strategically, make informed decisions, and approach their farm operations with the mindset of a business leader.

Building a Stronger Future for Ontario Agriculture
Successful farm operations require more than day-to-day management. Long-term planning, financial awareness, succession planning, and the ability to adapt to changing agricultural markets all play important roles in building a sustainable farm business.
Events like the FCC Ag Summit provide an opportunity to step away from daily responsibilities, exchange ideas, and consider new strategies that can benefit your farming operation.
For farmers considering expanding their acreage, purchasing additional farmland, selling agricultural property, or planning for future ownership transitions, understanding the business side of agriculture is especially valuable.
